Pablo Barros is a Senior Business Growth Strategist, Marketing, and Business Development professional with extensive experience in Web 2 and Web 3 Startups, Business Development, Branding, Consumer Behaviour, and B2B/B2C sales funnels.
He worked for UK-based start-ups such as SortYourFuture, FluidStack, and Portuguese businesses, including the startup Speak. As a founding member of Growth Dao and Growth Strategist at Growth Division, he have been helping Web 2 and Web 3 companies scale and grow. He also worked as a fractional CMO for companies such as https://convex.world/, https://www.essense.io/ and https://webvizio.com.
He developed strategic guidance for companies such as Heineken, Pepsico, Votorantim, Coca-Cola Brazil, Natura, Nestle Water, Vale, B Labs (B corp), Light, Neoenergia, Anglo Gold Ashanti, Lóreal Brazil and Petrobras, either independently or in partnership with other consultant firms. Pablo participated in projects such as Vision 2020 for the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and the Customer Behavior Change Framework with Futerra and Sustainable Brands. He was a customer behaviour expert at the DNV stakeholder’s international roundtable, and also worked on innovation, customer experience and full digital service business as business development director for marketing agencies such as Eight Positive, Founders Digital and Report.
Today, he’s pleased to be a startup mentor at the Growth Squared, Startout and at the Growth Mentor programmes. He’s also very happy to be a Start-up Scout, supporting identity.vc to empower startup founders who were born to disrupt.
In his academic path, he acquired a master’s in communication and information from the Sorbonne-Paris 3 University, a Post-certificate in Sustainable Business from Cambridge University and a specialisation in The Science of Decision Making by Stanford University.
In addition, he’s currently a Psychology PhD researcher at Iscte, University of Lisbon, studying mental health and wellbeing challenges in the AI era.
