Regi Wahyu is a Serial Entrepreneur, Business Developer, aiming to deliver positive impact to the society through exponential technology and every work that he does.
Regi had been driving his professional career for 15 years in many different multinational companies as business development director, starting from DDI, GE and DuPont, where he had the opportunity to lead operations at the regional Asia Pacific level.
In 2010, he started his entrepreneurship journey by acquiring and accelerating the business growth of Mediatrac, a Data-Driven Media Monitoring company. Mid 2011 he successfully created a JV with Aegis Network (UK) to run a Digital Marketing (Isobar) and Out of Home Planning (Posterscope) business. He then exited this joint-venture by selling it to Dentsu (Japan) at the end of 2014.
Starting early 2015 he built Dattabot a big data analytics company with a growth at a breakneck pace, while also attracting investors and renowned advisors. One of these new verticals include Agriculture, where he believes Big Data technology has the potential to solve Indonesia’s agricultural challenges through HARA. HARA is a blockchain based data exchange, an ecosystem which allows the invisible to become accessible.
His passion to create impact has led him to be selected as Endeavor Entrepreneur, an international organization that aims to support entrepreneurs with the greatest potential for economic and social impact.
With all his work on social impact, Ashoka as a global organization that promotes social entrepreneurship and individual change makers select him as global ashoka fellows.
In 2014 he joined Singularity University (Ames Nasa Research Center) on future technology, and he is currently taking a 4-years Advance Certification program for Executive, Innovation Strategy, and Technology Operation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology – Sloan School of Management.
