Ada Andreoni co-leads the Systems Change module and the Wellbeing module of the Ashoka Europe Fellowship Program. She also supports the Elders Council ecosystem initiative and co-leads a collective impact initiative on Gender Equity in Europe.Β Ada joined Ashoka in 2019 as part of the team organizing the Ashoka Changemaker Summit where her passion for systemic change was ignited. She then continued working for Ashoka Spain as Partnerships Manager until 2021.
At Ashoka, she has been dedicated to deepening her knowledge and expertise on the interconnection of systems change and wellbeing to support social entrepreneurs to increase their impact and achieve systemic change in their field.

Alessandro Basile
Alessandro Basile advises startups during their life cycle through legal assistance on the startup environment, namely corporate, privacy, ICT, IP and contracts law. The support provided is also on the economical growth of startups thanks to connections with complementary professionals, incubators, accelerators, crowdfunding platforms and investors.
On the other hand, he advises investors when an investment is still in process and after they have invested. In concrete terms, the advisory starts with legal due diligence within the investment process and continues with legal assistance when the investment is concluded: this, first, ensures the analysis of the legal risks and guarantees the proper legal protection of the investment.

Mattia Bertorello
Mattia Bertorello is a Platform Data Engineer with years of experience in AWS, Data and DevOps. Now he's working at Glovo, leading one of the platform teams to create the best Data Mesh experience and driving architecture designs of new data products.Β
He has been passionate about technology since he was young. He graduated in Turin with a thesis written in Apache Spark, then continued working in the data field, making consultancies for different companies in AgileLab. Later the love for the Cloud drove him to Arduino, then London, where he consolidated his skills in Serverless technologies applied to the data. He is also managing a WordPress with high traffic, a Learning facilitator at a Tier-1 university in the States, and learning a new topic Cloud FinOps because one job wasn't enough.

Eleonora Cadone
Eleonora Cadone graduated in Social Economy Management from the University of Bologna, and later obtained a master's degree in Management of Third Sector Organisations from the University of Valencia.
Since her early years at university, her great interest in the non-profit world, sustainable development and international cooperation pushed her to travel to Latin America and West Africa where she had the opportunity to start various collaborations supporting third sector entities in the field of fair trade and social entrepreneurship.
In 2018, she began her first collaboration with Ashoka in Mexico City and, since 2020, she has been part of the Ashoka Italy team where she now holds the role of Community Integrator.

Leonardo Camiciotti
Leonardo Camiciotti is Executive Director at TOP-IX Consortium. Leonardo graduated in Electronic Engineering from the University of Florence and holds an M.B.A. from the University of Turin.

He was a member of the Tourism Innovation Committee of the Ministry of Tourism and has collaborated in the design and implementation of BTO-Buy Tourism Online.
Since 2014 he has been the founder and CEO of Travel Appeal, a company specialized in data analysis using AI, which in 2019 became The Data Appeal Company SpA, acquired in 2022 by Almawave Spa. From 2006 to 2008, he worked at the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sport, developing the area related to sport for all.

Maurizio Napolitano
Technologist of the Bruno Kessler Foundation of Trento where he coordinates the research unit Digital Commons Lab. Maurizio Napolitano is an expert in open data and geospatial technologies, teacher of geospatial analysis at the data science course at the University of Trento. From 2010 he has contributed to the development of open data in Italy by collaborating with various public administrations at the regional, provincial and municipal level. Many of his contributions are in enhancing the reuse of data by communities and companies. The unit he coordinates is also a partner of the Open Data Institute and the GovLab NYC.

Francesca Naretto
Francesca Naretto is a third-year Ph.D. student in Data Science and sheβs working on eXplainable AI with the group of ERC XAI.Β She is also part of the EU H2020 project SoBigData++ and the TAILOR project.
Her primary research interest is Ethical AI, with a particular interest in Data Privacy and Explainable AI.Β
These two ethical values are essential: achieving them may enable the definition of a trustworthy ethical AI. She published EXPERT: a framework for predicting the privacy risk of a user's data, correlating the output with a local explanation. Together with her group, she proposed HOLDA: a new hierarchical federated learning approach for cross-silo, in which the goal is to maximize the generalization capabilities of the machine learning models trained.
Lastly, she also worked on a Survey of Explainable AI methods, with a benchmarking of Python's most popular XAI methods.

Giuseppe Nigro
The volunteering experiences Giuseppe Nigro undertook both in Italy and abroad have brought him closer to the charity sector since the early university years.
The interest in the contribution of the interventions of Third-sector organizations on social change that they promote has led him to deepen the theme of the Social Impact Evaluation. He is now a consultant in the fields of Project Design and Project Evaluation for NGOs and not for profit organizations.
He has been collaborating with Ashoka Italy for more than a year supporting the organization in different projects (online and in presence events, online and in presence trainings, surveys and researches on social innovation).

Kevin Schawinski
Kevin Schawinski is an astrophysicist and a pioneer in the use of machine learning in scientific research. He received his Ph.D from Oxford University studying galaxy formation. During his studies, he co-founded the Galaxy Zoo citizen science project which engaged over two million members of the public to participate in scientific research.
He spent time as a researcher at Yale University and as a NASA Einstein Fellow before returning home to Switzerland as an assistant professor at ETH Zurich. Based on his experiences, he co-founded Modulos, a startup building a platform based on the data-centric AI philosophy.

He is a Senior Fellow at the Center for Democracy and Technology (CDT, Yale University, Central European University and serves on numerous (advisory) boards, including Sparks and Honey, Center for Media, Data and Society, among others. He is also Founder and Curator in Chief of The Living Library.
