Leo Ferres is a research professor at the Data Science Institute, Universidad del Desarrollo. Telefónica I+D and ISI Foundation fellow.
He obtained his Ph.D. in Cognitive Science from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. He has published widely from data accessibility and large-data processing of natural language to multicore algorithms and data structures to index large collections of texts. Leo enjoys teaching, food, coffee and good conversation.
