The operational phase of the acceleration program launched by the CRT Foundation and OGR Torino with Microsoft to boost companies with social and environmental purposes will start on May 26.
Twelve European enterprises have been selected to enter the first cohort of Impact Deal, the innovative impact-driven acceleration program based on the exploitation of Data.
The initiative, which will be hosted in OGR Tech Torino, sees the collaboration of TOP-IX, The Data Science for Social Good Center, Impact Hub, Ashoka and The Data Appeal Company.
The Impact Deal mission is:
- To unleash the value of private and public organisation data by teaching specialised skills and testing return models on societal impact projects.
- To stimulate the growth of entrepreneurial activities already sensitive to impact issues, but also to support the transformation of traditional ones
- To promote the meeting between the private and public world, profit and non-profit, to support the evolution towards a renewed social and environmental cohesion.
The Impact Deal path will be divided into two phases: the first, lasting about two months, will provide specific skills in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and entrepreneurship; the second, lasting about 3 months, will be focused on accelerating business through the development of real projects and data-enabled solutions thanks to mentors and strategic collaborations.
